The Senior Secondary Phase: Grades 10 and 11

The quality and integrity of work done in the previous phases ensures

that RPS learners are well-prepared to deal with the complexity and
volume of work in the Ordinary Level curriculum.

In addition, RPS learners in this phase engage in several supplementary

learning activities. These include science projects, workshops led by

guest subject specialists, and multiple mock examinations held

throughout the year. In-class learning is learner-centred, interactive and

led by a team of experienced teachers well-versed in teaching the senior grades.

All learners write the Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary

level (NSSCO) in October of each year.

To qualify for the AS Level, a learner has to obtain a C symbol or higher.

• Mathematics

• Physical Science

• Chemistry

• Geography

• Biology

• Accounting

 

To qualify for AS level, a learner must pass any subject with a C symbol or higher.
A learner may take up to 4 subjects on AS Level.
