Riverside Private School, formerly known as Swakopmund
School of Excellence, opened its doors to the public in
January 2019, following its registration as a high school with the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, thus allowing the school to continue the grade progression that started way with the first intake of Grade 0 learners back in 2011.

As of 2022, the curriculum will span the full spectrum of
primary and secondary schooling, from Grade 0 to Grade 12. Today, Riverside boasts a healthy and growing enrolment, served by a dedicated and experienced corps of teachers. The school follows the Namibian National Curriculum derived from and moderated by Cambridge International Assessment Education and which culminates in the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level, recognised as the gateway to tertiary education globally.
